Latest news on 6WCOC

Dear Colleagues,

The 6th World Congress on Oxidation Catalysis took place from July 5 to 10, 2009 and has been a great success mostly due to the quality of the scientific communications (more than 460) among which 5 invited lectures, 23 keynotes and 116 oral communications.

More than 500 delegates attended 6WCOC coming from over 50 different countries all over the world.

We wish to thank all participants for contributing to this success!

Of course we wish to thank all those who have helped in the organization of this events, starting from the staffs of the two organizing laboratories UCCS (Lille - France) and CATA (Louvain-la-Neuve - Belgium) and those of the various institutions which have contributed to this organization: the Faculty of Medecine Henri Warembourg, The Town of Lille, Lille3000, ...

We would also like to acknowledge the support of our sponsors and the presence of the exhibitors.

Finally, the organization of such event cannot take place without the help of professional teams specialized in such work. We would like to ackowledge the excellent work performed by Perspectives&Organisation, our partner in charge of handling the logistics, registratitions and accommodation. Congratulations to Sophie Lefèbvre and her team: Céline, Pauline and Celestine.

This web site will be updated regularly in the next months. First, photos taken during 6WCOC will be uploaded in a web photo album. When installed, a mail containing the access code to this web album will be sent to all participants. You may of course contribute to this album by sending your own pictures to the congress secretary (contact@6wcoc.org).

Second, a new section has been created dedicated to the publication of the special volume of Catalysis Today. In this section you will find news regarding the advancement of the selection and refereeing procedure.
